Sympistis sandaraca is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found from the mountains of south-western Alberta south to at least Colorado and California.
It’s habitat consists of dry open woodland in mountainous areas.
The wingspan is 32–34 mm. Adults are on wing in late summer and fall.
